So maybe you don’t have access to a 3d modeling package like Solidworks or ProE, but you need to look at models that others have made. I tried to download the Solidworks free viewer the other day, and this is the message I got:
None of this applied to me, but apparently you aren’t allowed to download if you live in Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria. Additionally, you’re not allowed to download if you’re on the United States list of terrorists or drug trafficers (maybe you would like to design a drug-submarine?). Also, you’re not allowed to use this to manufacture weapons of mass destruction regardless of whether you’re a terrorist.
So for you guys that would like to use this software package for crimes against the United Stated, you should really stop. I guess you can always use PTC’s Creo viewer, which doesn’t seem to have such stringent requirements.
